Mogul Mosque was designed by ARCHITECT REZA KABUL located in Mumbai, India constructed by an Iranian trader over a century ago, had sadly lost its lustre with cracks forming in the 2′6″ thick load bearing walls, rotting wooden trusses and water damage as a result of leaks.

Tasked with repairing the grand structure was Architect Reza Kabul of India with whom the enormity of the task was not lost. Much of the structure had to be reconstructed. The Mangalore tiles were removed and replaced, wooden trusses dismantled before being repaired and re-erected and the walls were stitched by drilling holes through the thick walls and placing mild steel plates across the cracks. These were then bolted through & through the cracks and filled with araldite in order to bind the cracks together. Finally, the walls were plastered.

The inner walls are clad with a combination of Onyx and granite with inlay of several Surahs from the Divine Quran. Years of oil paint on the wooden doors and windows was removed by the burn and scrap process. Thereafter melamine polish was applied. The glass window panes were replaced along with all the hardware.

The Masjid Negara is the national mosque of Malaysia, located in Kuala Lumpur. It has a capacity of 15,000 people and is situated among 13 acres (53,000 m2) of beautiful gardens. The original structure was designed by a three-person team from the Public Works Department – UK architect Howard Ashley, and Malaysians Hisham Albakri and Baharuddin Kassim. The mosque was mimed after the chairman of the Board of “Tatneft” company, who made a generous contribution to the construction of the mosque. The mosque was built in 1990-1999 according to the project by the architects A.M.Zakirov and F.M. Mavlutov, engineers S.S. Abdullin, A.A.Gareev, V.LMaslova. The mosque is situated on the plot of land with relief drop. It belongs to the type of a dome mosque with a minaret on its roof. It is a 3-4-storeyed brick building the southern half of which places the praying room for 1200 persons covered up with the high dome. The northern part contains the conference-hall and auxiliary facilities. On the first floor of both parts there are study rooms. The main minaret (53.5 metres) rises above the north part of the building. The eight-faceted minarets (36.2 metres) rises above the praying room's corners. The gilded dome towers above the flat roof. Inside the room its walls, ceiling and inner surface of the dome are decorated with coloured tile. The windows in the upper part of the dome part and the second level of the praying room are decorated with stained glass panels. The mosque is a modern Moslem religious building with the large variety of functions.
